Irene Robles started dancing ballet as a 13 year old in Newton, Kansas with Malea Gonzalez and also participated in cheerleading and dance team as a high school student, where she began to develop leadership skills and choreography skills as head cheerleader. Once she graduated from high school she moved to San Jose, California and within a year began a career as a ballroom dance instructor at Starlite Ballroom. There she had the pleasure of receiving excellent ballroom dance training through professionals such as, Ron Montez and Lou Gutierrez. While in the Bay Area received training from Pantea Majzoub and Roger Yamat (dancers in Rumba Rumberos, a dance troupe headed by Francisco Vasquez) and Michelle Castro and Ricardo Sanchez (founders of PB Dance Company) and other professionals in the Latin Dance scene. In 2001 she moved to Reno, Nevada and began intense training with Jeffrey Lynn Marchand in body mechanics and dynamic movement and started working for Never Enough Ballroom where she gained experience in competition as a professional in the Bay and Las Vegas. She also acquired national certifications through DVIDA in ballroom dance through Silver levels. Currently she teaches independently in Reno and Carson City, Nevada and continues to build her knowledge and love for dance through instruction and involvement with various professionals in the Reno dance scene.
